Dive Source offers many services for the Scuba Diver or water sports enthusiast. Dive Source can do equipment service on all of your scuba gear and has the proper tools and trained technicians needed to keep your gear in top notch shape

Factory Authourized Sales and Service :

Our technicians are factory trained to service a wide variety of regulators, tanks, drysuits, dive computers, light's and BCD's. (If it's for diving, we can probably fix it)

Dive Source is also the Authorized* Dealer and Repair Center in the Durham Region for Apeks, Zeagle,Aquatics, Aeris, TUSA, Oceanic, Viking, Bare, Abyss, Sherwood, Atomic Aquatics, Hollis Gear and Poseidon.

* Authorized Dealer means we have taken and passed repair courses from the manufacturer of that equipment line on how to maintian and repair their products and we can also buy genuine parts for them. Shops that do not have these qualifications cannot buy parts, do NOT have the required training and should not be touching your gear - PLUS it will void your warrenty.

This also means that we cannot service the following brands: Scuba pro, Mares, Dacor, Dive Rite, Cressi Sub or Genesis. We will however point you in the right direction. (A quick word about Dacor - in a nutshell they are out of business and you cannot get parts anymore which are needed when servicing correctly. Consider a trade in - sorry)

Air and Nitrox Service:

Dive Source currently has the largest and most modern compressor and gas blending equipment in the area. Our Jordair/BAUER compressor is capable of pumping out 15 cu ft per minute of clean pure air suitable for blending. We also have over 7000 cu ft of air storage so while you wait tank fills are never a problem.

For divers enjoying the benefits of NITROX we have a partial pressure blending system and Haskall booster available for custom blends of your choice up to 100 %.

Pony/Stage Bottle Regulator Service - Includes complete disassembly, ultrasonic cleaning and adjustment of pony/stage bottle regulator, as well as pressure gauge service - Parts not included unless under warranty.

O2 Cleaning - Includes use of 100% oxygen clean materials and lubricants. Regulator is cleaned and assembled in a clean environment free of any hydrocarbons and other dirt and debris that does not conform to oxygen service equipment.

Hose Protectors - This simple addition to your regulator is a stiff rubber cover that is placed on the end of a hose where the hose connects to the first stage. The hose protector provides support at this point, where hoses are most likely to fail first due to the rubber coating of the hose bending and rubbing against the stainless steel on the hose connection. This service is done quickly and often immediately while you wait.

Other Service - Dive Source SCUBA's authorized technicians are qualified to provide service and adjustments beyond regular service. If you are concerned about your regulator, noticed an issue, or possibly broke a part on your regulator you may drop it by under the request that we have a look at it. Labour charges may apply. If parts are required, that is also an additional charge. Remember that regulators are your lifeline, have them serviced by authorized technicians only.

Dive Computer, Camera and Instrument Testing:

Dive Source has the largest and most modern Instrument Test Chamber in Ontario. It is specifically designed to test today’s highly sophisticated dive instruments and features a 4.5" Test Gauge with ¼ of 1% accuracy to 300 feet of salt water (that’s 0.75 ft!)  - For complete spec's and a picture click here
