With Digital Underwater Photography!
The PADI digital underwater photography course is designed to take advantage of today's amazing and conveniant digital cameras and teach you the techniques required to create your own stunning underwater memories.
The course is broken into two parts and Certification levels:
Level One - Is suitable for Snorkelers or divers and consists of a classroom session and a single dive (open water or pool) where they will learn the basics of camera operation and photography and then put these skills into practical use. The instructor will give in water feedback and advice with the students taking pictures in different orientations and using different settings.
Completion of this will result in certification as a "Padi Digital Underwater Photographer - Level One". Cost for this program is $120 plus textbook and is also part of our Dive and Learn Program.
Level Two - This program continues where Level one stops and consists of another open water scuba dive (may not be done in pool)with an instructor followed by an informative post dive classroom session where more critique and tips are given as well as advice on post processing, photo storage and more.
Completion of this will result in certification as a "Padi Digital Underwater Photographer - Level Two".Cost for this program is $120 and uses the same textbook. It is also part of our Dive and Learn Program.
NOTE: If you are taking Level 1 and Level 2 together total cost is $199 or 5 divebucks and you will be issued the Level 2 card only.
Misc Information / FAQ's:
Camera Rental - Dive Source has Cameras available for rental and student buddy pairs may share a single camera but it is best for each person to have there own.
Strobes/ UW flashes - Strobes are a great accessory and do improve underwater photos greatly, however they are not manditory for the class. (rentals are available)

Do you need Level One and/or Level Two? - How far you go is up to you and the reason there are two levels as it allows snorkelers and divers to discover how much fun digital Photography can be and go as far as they like. Level 1 also allows us to offer the course in the winter months as it is pool based.
