Deepsea Dan has been a certified SCUBA diver since 1974 and one of Dive Source's most active and skilled Instructors.

From the early 1980's to the early 1990's he worked as a commercial oilfield diver in various parts of the world doing surface air, surface gas and saturation diving and tales of these travels are always entertaining.

During his commercial dive career he was a helmet service technician, life support technician, and diver medic.

He received his Divemaster certification in 1980 and his NAUI instructor certification in 1998 through Dive Source which he further added to in 2005 when he also became a PADI Instructor. Dan is currently a firefighter with the city of Peterborough where he also instructs ice water rescue, defibrillization and Basic trauma Life Support.
