All student information collected for training courses is not available to any outside parties or shared with anyone other than the instructor running the program and the training agency when registering their certification. Information collected (as required by training agencies) is only used to evaluate a persons suitability for scuba training and to provide a history for the instructor should an emergency arrive.
Upon request, an individual shall be informed of the existence, use and disclosure of his or her personal information and shall be given access to that information and shall be able to challenge the accuracy and completeness of the information and have it amended as appropriate.
